Ameria (アメリア, Ameria) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Ameria is an experienced mercenary who is deeply committed to her physical appearance.
History
|
Ameria was a beautiful swordswoman who wandered the land, serving as a mercenary and bodyguard. She was very concerned about her personal appearance, rationalizing it as a reward for all the life-risking work she frequently undertook.
Although she could be very cool and realistic, Ameria also had a very kind heart and when Razril was occupied by the Kooluk Empire, she helped protect the villagers there as a bodyguard. Following its liberation by the Allied Forces, Ameria worried about the future of the island's inhabitants but was convinced that the town would now recover, freeing her to accept an invitation by the hero to join the force.
Ameria would fight throughout the Island Liberation War, showcasing the sword skills honed from her mercenary work. Following the war, she attempted to forsake the use of make-up but quickly changed her mind when no one recognized her without it.
Following the order of King Lino En Kuldes himself, she would later help Kyril in his investigations of the Rune Cannons in the Kooluk Empire. She was still very concerned about her outward appearance, as she complained to Maxine and Jeane that the night shifts were bad for her complexion.

Trivia
- Ameria is one of three characters in Suikoden Tactics who does not show any form of Good Will with other characters, the other two characters being Wendel and Lalacle.
