A Rune (紋章, Monshō) is a term used in the Genso Suikoden Card Stories TCG. Rune-wielding character cards can be affected by a number of conditions in the game.
Overview
The Rune icon denotes that the character card possesses a rune, a crest that bestows magical power in the Suikoden series. The rune icon in positioned on the right side of the card's name row, to the left of the card's Gender. The specific type of rune is merely flavor and does not factor into gameplay purposes.
Several cards can affect the strength and use of rune-bearing characters in the game. For example, the Rune Sage facilities card will increase the ATK of the player's characters with runes if it is built.
