Headgear (ひたいあて, Hitai-ate), also known as Head Gear, is a piece of equipment in Suikoden and Suikoden II.
Information
This piece of head equipment was made mainly to protect the forehead. By inserting a thin plate of copper or iron in the forehead of the headband, it helps to prevent fatal injuries when the head is attacked from the front.
It is a reasonably effective piece of equipment and is popular as it does not block the peripheral vision of the wearer.
