Maxine (マキシン, Makishin) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Maxine is an assassin who is contracted to kill the hero.

History

I was just bored, so I thought I'd drop you a line or two. Okay, that's all.

Following the liberation of Razril, Maxine revealed Ramada as her employer.

Maxine was an assassin who was hired by Ramada to take the life of the bearer of the Rune of Punishment. She was a lone wolf with a strong professional streak. Even after being defeated repeatedly, she would continue in her attempts, attacking the hero several times.

Once defeated for good, she was found in Razril, where she would reveal her employer's identity before joining her former target as an ally.

On the Headquarters Ship, she also kept to herself, standing alone in the ship's infirmary. Following the Island Liberation War, Maxine disappeared saying that her contract had been fulfilled.

After the war, she lived on Hermitage Island, but when she received a letter from Ramada through Kyril, who delivered it for the Middleport Quest Guild, she became Kyril's companion without saying a word. It is unclear why she joined the group, as she never revealed the contents of the letter.
