The Guard Ring (ガードリング, Gādoringu) is a type of equipment available in several games of the Suikoden series.
Guard Rings are the strongest defensive accessory commonly available in stores in the game.
Information
This ring has been subjected to a strong defensive magic, making it very good at reducing the power of an enemy's blows when they attack the wearer of one of these rings. They are most commonly sold in Antei and Gregminster and armor shops in the Dunan region.
It can be worn by most people, and is one of the most useful accessories because of its effectiveness. There were two types of guard rings in circulation, one, common in the Toran Republic, which protected against physical attacks, and the other which guarded against magic.
