Iron Shield
鉄のたて Tetsu no Tate
The Iron Shield (鉄のたて, Tetsu no Tate) is a type of equipment available in several games of the Suikoden series. It was localized as the Steel Shield in the 1996 English localization of Suikoden.
The Iron Shield is a reasonably strong, mid-game defensive equipment.
Information
This iron shield holds sufficient strength and durability to block an enemy's attack. These shields have only been seen for sale in the armor shops of Kouan, at least in Toran.
In the City-States of Jowston, it was one of the more popular shields and widely used among ordinary soldiers. In the Grasslands, the shield was considered worth its price, but otherwise not particularly effective.
