The Lightning Rune Crystal (雷の紋章球, Kaminari no Monshō-kyū) is a boss enemy which appears in Suikoden III. It is rendered as LgtngRCrys during battle in the English localization of the game due to space limitations.

Information

This gigantic lightning rune orb protected the Wind Rune Incarnation during the final battle between the Fire Bringer and the Destroyers during the War of the Champions.

Born from the True Lightning Rune, it targeted and attacked the enemy with Furious Blow, an intermediate level lightning magic, and Hammer of Raijin, the highest level lightning magic.
