Sacrificial Buddha
Suikoden instruction manual
The Sacrificial Buddha (身代わり地蔵, Migawari Jizō), also known as the Sacrificial Jizo, is a recurring item in the Suikoden series. They usually block or auto-cure the Unconscious status effect when equipped.
Information
This jizo can save the life of its holder by taking their place if they becomes incapacitated in battle. The item is somewhat valuable in the Toran region because it was usually only sold by the Toran Liberation Army through Chandler or at Kirov's item shop.
It is said that Viktor survived his confrontation with Neclord during the North Window tragedy due to a Sacrifice Buddha he had bought at Daisy's request. The thief Hoi, who was frequently accousted for his activites, also carried several of these for safety purposes.
