Luce (ルース, Rūsu) is a supporting character in Suikoden III. Luce is the maternally inclined mother of Lulu.

History

Lulu's mother. Friend of Karaya Chief Lucia.

Luce is the loud-mouthed and good-natured mother of Lulu and a close friend of Lucia. While her husband has left on a journey to the south, she took care of her household in the Karaya Village alone.

She is a cheerful and very caring woman not only to her biological son, Lulu, but also to Jimba whom she had adopted as her own. Her older sons had died in warfare.

When Luce learned that Lulu was killed by Chris Lightfellow in the attack on Karaya Village she was temporarily overcome with grief but eventually managed to bounce back. After joining the Fire Bringer, she would work hard to take care of everyone at Budehuc Castle, whether it by doing laundry or cooking up great, big meals for everybody.

Following the War of the Champions, Luce became a mother to many who had lost their families in the war and now her household bustles with life once again.
