The Queen of Obel (オベル王妃, Oberu Ōhi) is a minor character in Suikoden IV. She passed away some 15 years prior to the events of the game.
History

The Queen of Obel was the wife of Lino En Kuldes and the mother of Flare and her son. She lived a normal life with her family in the Kingdom of Obel.
Some 15 years prior to the Island Liberation War, Obel was attacked by pirates. On board ship with her family, the Queen would summon the Rune of Punishment from within the Ruins of Obel and use it to repel the attack on their ship. Although her son would be thrown overboard due to the pirate attack, Flare would be saved. The Queen then passed away due to the rune's curse.
