Ax (アックス, Akkusu) is a minor character in Suikoden V. He is a young dragon horse and the mount of Nick.

History

Ax is a dragon horse who is the companion of Nick, the Feitas Dragon Cavalry apprentice. Compared to other dragon horses, Ax stands out in that he has three horns, which is a rarity. This as well as strength and stamina, which allows him to fight alongside Nick despite his youth, would help him stand out as having the makings of a first class dragon horse.

During the Sun Rune War, he would fight alongside Nick in the Imperial City Recapture Army. He excelled in water battles, showing a measure of success comparable to fully grown dragon horses such as Lance and Flail.

Following the war, he would continue to train and would grow into a magnificent three-horned dragon horse, making his partnership with Nick one to watch for in the Dragon Cavalry.
