Nico (ニコ, Niko) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Nico is the Stronghold Ship exceptional lookout.
History

Nico was a young man who served as the lookout aboard the Stronghold Ship. He was well trusted by his fellow sailors due to his serious diligence when it came to his work coupled with his polite demeanor. As a lookout, he had exceptional talent, his amazing eyesight gaining him the adulation, and jealousy, of Wendel in particular.
He was one of the original crew members of the Stronghold Ship and served both Lino En Kuldes and its leader faithfully throughout the Island Liberation War. His uncanny talents allowed him to spot enemy ships quickly, making him a vital asset during the war.
On board ship, Nico's diligent nature made him doubt Haruto's commitment to his job although he did have high standards for everyone on board. He also had trouble shaking off Wendel, even after stating he was not looking for an apprentice.
Once the war ended, he continued to serve as a lookout on the Kingdom of Obel patrol ships.
