Shoulder Pads (かたあて, Kata-ate) are a type of equipment available in Suikoden and Suikoden II.
Shoulder Pads are low level, early game defensive equipment.
Information
This armor, made of leather and iron, is designed to protect the wearer's shoulders. It can be adapted to attach to a person's regular body armor, protecting their arms and shoulders from vertical strikes being brought down by their opponents. It is designed to allow the wearer's arms as much freedom of movement as possible.
It is a very common piece of equipment and so is easy to obtain.
