Suikoden STAR LEAP: Trails of the Stars (幻想水滸伝 STAR LEAP ～星々の軌跡～, Gensōsuikoden Sutārīpu ～Hoshi Boshi no Kiseki～) is an ongoing manga based on the mobile title.
It is authored by Shimizu Aki, who previously worked on the Suikoden III manga, Successor of Fate[1]. The first chapter was published on November 5, 2025, through the Monthly Comic Flapper magazine [2].
Overview
The manga aims to narrate the events that happens inside Suikoden STAR LEAP. It was initially announced alongside the game itself on the inaugural March 3 Suikoden Live.[3]
On October 3, it was announced that the manga, now with the full title of Suikoden STAR LEAP: Hoshi Boshi no Kiseki would begin serialization in Monthly Comic Flapper from November 5. A teaser image was also released, showing Shapur with the text: His homeland, ravaged by years of war. This is the reality and struggle of a man who vowed to protect it as a knight.[2]
In the December edition of Monthly Comic Flapper, Shimizu noted that her goal was to create a story that anyone could enjoy regardless of their interest in the Suikoden series or Suikoden STAR LEAP specifically.[4]
An official English localization of the first chapter was made available for reading on Comic Walker on December 5, 2025.[5]

| Shapur continues to serve as a knight and accumulates much fame, though he is kept powerless as a heretic. The devastation of the Grasslands following the eruption of the True Fire Rune affords the military a chance to attack the Free Knights of Camaro at the insistence of Alizade and Darius. Shapur is chosen to lead the attack, along with Grassland allies. While preparing, he meets Hou, Ornan, and Bramante for the first time. | ||

| General Godfrey's subordinate, Hugo leads an ambush on Alizade's rear lines. At Hou's urging, Shapur refuses an order to try and draw the ambush forces down on their ill-equipped mercenaries by attacking the Camaro base. Instead, Shapur chooses to attack the ambushers, allowing the army as a whole to retreat, while Hou's crew hold off the main Camaro force. Afterwards, Shapur is reprimanded for disobeying orders and Hou attacks Alizade in fury. With Hou sentenced to be executed, Shapur breaks him out of jail and decides to join Hou's group on their travels. | ||
