The Eternal City (永遠の都, Eien no Miyako), called the City of Eternity in Suikoden IV, is a term mentioned several times in the Suikoden series. It is a term connected to the Sindar.
Information
According to legends on the Sindar, the Eternal City is the final destination of the Sindar, at the end of their cursed wanderings due to the Rune of Change. Nobody living today remembers the full details nor the location of this city.
During the Island Liberation War, the Fog Ship Guide was "returned" to the Eternal City by the power of Leknaat and the Rune of Life and Death, offering up further mysteries about both the nature of the Eternal City and the Sindar themselves.
