Yamada James Takeshi (山田 ジェームス 武, Yamada Jēmusu Takeshi, born May 7, 1990) is a Japanese actor, model, and singer. He is known for his work in Japanese film, television, and particularly on stage, where he has performed in numerous adaptations of popular anime and video games. He is cast as Flik in Suikoden -Gate Rune Wars Arc- The Stage.
Biography
Yamada was born in Sakura, Chiba, Japan. He is of multi-ethnic heritage, being a quarter Japanese, Spanish, Filipino, and Chinese. He began his career as a fashion model, notably for the men's street fashion magazine Men's Egg under the nickname "Takezō."[1]
He made his acting debut in the 2013 film Shinokubo Story.[2] Since then, he has appeared in various television dramas and movies.[3] He was a member of the talent agency Next Satisfaction until March 31, 2019, after which he became a freelance artist.
In 2012, he formed the five-member music unit "angry cats," in which he served as vocalist and guitarist. His hobbies include snowboarding and video games, and his special skill is basketball, having been a selected player for the Chiba Prefecture team and competing in the Kanto Tournament.[4]
