The hero (主人公, Shujinkō) is the protagonist character from the upcoming Suikoden STAR LEAP. He is referred to as Zhao (チャオ, Chao) in official gameplay footage.
He is kind and courageous, and has a charm that draws people in. At some point he met Stallion and the two became friends, with the elf gifting the hero the High-Speed Rune[1].
