The Collar (首輪, Kubiwa), originally localized as the Necklace, is a type of equipment available in Suikoden.

The Collar is a decent early game piece of equipment for kobolds.

Information

The leather collar is a common piece of apparel worn by kobolds and Winged Horde. These collars can help reduce the danger of an attack striking the throat and neck and are surprisingly effective. Apparently, wearing one of these collars can calm an excited or otherwise agitated kobold down.

Trivia

  • Erroneously localized as "Necklace" in the 1996 English language release of Suikoden, it is really a "Collar" which makes much more sense considering its a kobold-exclusive piece of equipment.
