Overview
Alizadeh was a lord from a country in the Nameless Lands. He saw the potential in young Shapur and took him under his wing, despite his pagan background.
He appeared to be a caring commanding officer, but in SY 421, during a battle against an enemy army, was willing to sacrifice his infantry to a horde of saber-toothed tigers as they were made up of common volunteers as opposed to the noblemen in his cavalry.
When Shapur broke rank to attack the beast tamer, saving the infantry, Alizadeh would take the credit and glory for the deeds, though Shapur would be knighted in the process.
