Trading posts (交易所, Kōeki-sho) are common businesses in the Suikoden series where people can buy and sell various goods and tools. Store inventory differs according to each store and its location.
Information

Trading posts exist for the buying and selling of trade goods. They are located in many towns and villages across the land. The goods sold vary from town to town and village to village, with prices fluctuating depending on the time of year, demand, etc. Since the same goods were sold at different prices in different areas and at different times, it was possible to make a large profit by taking advantage of the fluctuating prices.
A wide variety of items were sold for trade, from antiques, such as statues and plates, to seasonings, such as salt and sugar, and daily necessities, such as books and candles. Only antiques could be sold at an item shop as well as a trading post.
Gordon Mercantile was a popular trading concern in Gregminster and its owner, Gordon would go on to run a trading post at New Alliance Army Headquarters.
