Takase Mie (高瀬 美恵, born July 31, 1966) is a Japanese novelist and scenario writer. She is the author of Genso Suikoden IV: 1 (novel) and its successors.
Information
Takase is best known for her light novels, horror works, and numerous novelizations of popular video games. A graduate of Waseda University, she began her career in 1991 with the original light novel series Overlord of Kushiarata, which expanded from an initial five-volume plan to ten volumes due to its popularity.[1]
Takase has published under her own name as well as the pen name Fuuko Morikawa (森川風子).[1] Her work spans genres ranging from horror (e.g. ALUMA) to children’s literature and video game adaptations. She has contributed scenarios to several video games and authored light novel adaptations for franchises including Angelique, Fire Emblem, Growlanser, Kirby, and Suikoden.[2][3]
She is a member of the Japan SF Writers Club.[1]
