Gose (ゴーセ, Gōse) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is a chef and one of the game's 13 unmet Stars.
History
|
Gose was a cook who worked at Tios Fortress alongside Nima during the HIY 200 Teras Pharma conflict. Originally a farmer, Gose had gained a reputation for the delicious food made with the vegetables he grew and so ended up in the kitchens of the fort.
Following the conflict, Gose would return home to tend the family farm. Warrg brought up Gose as a potential Starbearer. Realizing he was unlikely to travel to Tios Fortress any time soon, Warrg planned to have Gose write down a recipe to pass on at some point. It was several decades later that he finally wrote down the secrets of vegetable cooking on the wall of Tios Fortress.
A century later, the cooks of the Company would find Gose's recipe etched into the walls of the fortress. The details of the recipe carved into the walls had been worn away in time, but the power of the Stars of Destiny meant that the technique for replicating his dish was passed down regardless.
In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality had been broken, he would be asked by Warrg to join the western migrants but instead chose to stay in his hometown so as to protect the family farm.
