The Tower of Zoe (ゾーエの塔, Zōe no Tō) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki.
Information
The Tower of Zoe was a facility located west of Skrilo Marsh in inner Ionia. It was originally an ancient building, predating the foundation of the Holy Empire of Ionia.
Its original use by Ionia, if any, is unknown but following the destruction of their facilities at the House of Wisdom, the Yggdrasilian Throne would use the Era Tree to change history, either moving the House of Wisdom's Teras Pharma research and incubation facilities to the tower or always using the tower instead.
In the wake of the confrontation between Rochelle Kollek and Aaron Barcai at the tower (having moved from their original confrontation at the House of Wisdom with the change in the past), escaped Teras Pharma would begin to rampage forth threatening inner Ionia and the western featherfolk town of Gugleion. The members of the Company would make their way to the Tower of Zoe, defeating the Teras Pharma and uncovering vital information about the Yggdrasilian Throne's machinations.
Prime Minister Lugat Lugam and Neos would also travel to the Tower of Zoe to stop the Teras Pharma rampage and would confront the Company in an attempt to thwart the Stars of Destiny. They would be killed in the ensuing battle.
Trivia
- Zoe (pronounced "zōḗ", in the Greek manner) translates to "life".
