Lulusa (ルルサ, Rurusa) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Lulusa is the vegetable-loving cook of Therbe Village.
History
|
Lulusa was known as Therbe Village's cook. Specializing in vegetable dishes, her food was popular although some, like Gino, complained at the lack of meat. Lulusa believed that meat was unhealthy, and that people were better off only eating vegetables and grains.
Even when training to be a cook in the past alongside Bjorn, Lulusa was dedicated to working with vegetables only. Any complaints against her all-vegetable fare would be met with the retort that no-one was making them eat it. Lulusa was a stubborn but compassionate lady.
Because of Lulusa's closeness to the hero, Myra, and Gino, she was one of the first to experience the memory-doubling effects of the Era Tree. Her memory of Therbe Village being destroyed by the Teras Pharma remained in part even after the hero and Myra prevented it from happening by using the Era Tree.
This dissonance troubled her greatly for quite some time until she became part of the Company and learned the full effect of the Era Trees. Following this, Lulusa became used to her memory "doubling" as the Company changed the past. She held two distinct memories for several events, including Epat Bridge's passability and whether Hodos Village had been washed away or not.
As a member of the Company, Lulusa was able to learn from many great chefs of the past, including Gerel, Gose, Numa, and Jandak. She was especially impressed with Gerel's physique despite his disdain for meat. She was also able to help Jandak learn human vegetable cooking.
Following the fall of the barrier, Lulusa continued to work in the kitchens for Hagar and the elderly who remained in Therbe Village. She also enjoyed competing with her old rival Bjorn.
