A Tavern (酒場, Sakaba) is a type of business where people gather to drink alcoholic beverages and be served food.
In Suikoden II, the tavern is where players organize their party. In the Suikoden series, it is generally differentiated from an inn by its inability to host travelers overnight.
Information
A tavern was a social gathering place for adults to relax after a hard day's work with good food and drink. Often combined with inns, they were used as places of relaxation for both guests and local residents.
Wine is generally the most popular form of alcohol. It seems to be produced in many places and is bought and sold as a tradeable commodity. Sake, which Gijimu and Lo Wen were seen drinking together, Kanakan spirits, as well as the the whiskey and scotch that Lebrante favored were also popular.
