Bonsai Tree (ぼんさい, Bonsai) is a recurring antique and trade item in the Suikoden series.
Information
Bonsai are generally pine and other evergreen trees. They are planted in small pots and their branches meticilously pruned and curated. Tending to bonsai trees was considered a calming and meditative activity. They were especially popular in Rokkaku Hamlet and other areas such as South Window City.
In Gregminster, most of them sold for roughly 25,000 potch, but those with fine branches could fetch as much as 50,000 potch at a trading post.
