Epat Bridge (エパト橋, Epato-bashi) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a small bridge located near the Wyvern Nest.
Information
Epat Bridge was a bridge built to traverse the river dividing Orosk Village in the east from Fairpeak in the west. As such, it was generally considered a border between the land's eastern and northwestern regions. Boldon considered crossing the bridge as akin to crossing into mainland Ionia.
The bridge had been blocked off due to a wyvern rampage some three months prior to the HIY 300 Teras Pharma conflict. The people of Orosk Village had been trying to clear the blockage but their subsequent occupation by the Vermilion Axe delayed such plans. This prevented the hero, Boldon, and their companions from crossing and following the Vermilion Axe. The group would learn from Judiela that the Vermilion Axe had used ships to traverse the river instead.
Realizing any alternative would take too long to implement, the group decided to use the Era Tree to travel to HIY 200 and kill the wyvern there, preventing it from blocking the bridge in the future. As such, both the Company and the Vermilion Axe simply crossed Epat Bridge in the normal fashion.
As Regius's memories was not protected by an Era Tree at the time, he had no memory of Epat Bridge being blocked in recent memory.
