Mountain Cavern (岩山の洞窟, Iwayama no Dōkutsu) is a location in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. It is a rocky cavern located on Mt. Orosk and in use by the Vermilion Axe.
Information
Located on Mt. Orosk, this rocky mountain cavern was used by the Vermilion Axe during their western advance and occupation of Orosk Village.
The cavern was used for several different functions by the group. It was used as a stronghold for its soldiers and to imprison outspoken residents of Orosk Village and soldiers of the Holy Empire of Ionia's 4th Branch. It was also used as a storage area for the Vermilion Axe's Teras Pharma, including the enormous Teras Delgado.
Boldon and the hero's group would infiltrate the cavern and rescue the villagers imprisoned within, though they were too late to rescue the Ionian soldiers who were all fed to the Teras Delgado. After confronting the Vermilion Axe leadership within the cavern, the insurgents would withdraw from the region.
