Cadmus (カドモス, Kadomosu) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is an Ionian blacksmith assigned to the Holy Imperial Army's 3rd Branch as logistical support.
History
|
A gruff blacksmith of few words, originally from Achlites, Cadmus was conscripted into the Ionian 3rd Branch during the HIY 300 Teras Pharma conflict.
As part of the 3rd Branch's logistical support, he was assigned to Martylion as part of General Dilom Lances' plan to ensnare the Vermilion Axe. There, he worked on the weapons of the soldiers and mercenaries stationed there. Encountering the hero and Regius, Cadmus would mention that he did not approve of the decision to camp at Martylion, feeling that disrupting the site of such a tragedy would lead to a bad end.
As a civilian, he was evacuated from the town immediately prior to the 3rd Branch's battle with the Vermilion Axe and returned to the decimated battlefield afterwards. Meeting the hero again there, he would agree to join the company as they had made far more progress against the Vermilion Axe than the Holy Imperial Army.
Working from the lake fortress, Cadmus was often gruff with both clients and the people he inherited skills from in the past. Still, he was always willing to recognize the ability of those he learned from, even if he disliked them personally, such as Yofeurs.
Following the war, he would return to Thaksis, joining a group of craftsmen building a ship and later would head construction of a large migrant fleet.
