Regius (レギウス, Regiusu) is a major character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is the mysterious, ever-calm and calculating strategist of the hero's forces.
History

Noted for his air of mystery, Regius describes himself as an explorer of truth, extremely dedicated to uncovering the truth of the Holy Empire of Ionia and the world they live in.
Although his past is mostly a mystery, it is known that some 20 years ago (c. 280) he worked for a secret Ionian organization called the Grubs. His reasons for leaving the group are unknown. At some point, he also found and rescued Guilleriga, who was being held by humans as a pet. He would tutor him in his ninja arts and espionage.
He would conduct several investigations into Ionia's history and forbidden texts over the years, mostly with limited success.
