Cleion (クレイオン, Kureion) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is an enigmatic musician.
History
|
Cleion was a mysterious minstrel. In the year 100, he suddenly appeared on the battlefield in the fight against the Teras Pharma. He would play beautiful songs to empower the Ionian Army before vanishing without a trace. This would happen several times over the course of the conflict.
He would be encountered by the hero several times around the Apiro Hills. He seemed to know more than he let on, guessing the reason for Laquila's guilt and directing her to Perie Grove. He would inform Lethe of their approach. He also seemed to hold some knowledge of the Era Tree.
Meeting Zephon, he was inspired to create a new song. He denied knowing the youth in any way, though their interactions seemed to indicate otherwise, the two trading barbs with each other. It was this song that he would teach to members of the hero's corps.
Following the end of the war, Cleion vanished after Laquila's return to Thaksis. Perplexingly, there is no record of him in Ionia's exhaustive family registry.
Trivia
- His eyes and face shape would suggest that Cleion is also a refiant, although that remains unconfirmed.
