Sorab (ソラブ, Sorabu) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Sorab is a jongleur suffering from trauma from battles against the Teras Pharma.
History
|
Sorab was a jongleur who fought at Tios Fortress during the HIY 200 Teras Pharma conflict. He was a commoner from Martylion and the cousin of Beltha. In the past, Sorab collaborated with Kookaburra on his works.
He actually hated to use his magic for battle but was dragged into the conflict by Beltha, who insisted that anyone with the power to fight was obligated to, due to his weak-willed nature. Although he did fight against the Teras Pharma, the experience left him extremely traumatized once removed from the immediate danger. He and Beltha traveled to the Perie Grove in the hopes that the journey would help him recuperate but to no avail.
When the Company met them at Rujin's request, they attempted to bring a fellow jongleur to inspire Sorab once again. Jansen was unable to move Sorab's heart but when Meamei performed one of Kookaburra's works, Sorab's passion for performing was reignited, helping him cope with his trauma.
Following the end of the conflict, Sorab found Kookaburra, who had disappeared, before the latter lost his life in the Glacial Cave. The two resumed their musical work together. In a branch of the Infinity where the chains of causality had been broken, the two would again reunite, this time forming a traveling troupe, delighting the new settlements.
