Suu Jin (スウ・ジン, Suu Jin) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Suu Jin is a talented Coutanese blacksmith.
History
|
Siu Jin was a Coutanese blacksmith who served in the 2nd Branch of the Holy Imperial Army during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. Although she held no formal training as a smith, she had nonetheless mastered the craft through careful observation and trial and error.
Following the conflict, she continued to work and research at Zephtelos Fortress but unfortunately lost her favorite hammer in the waters by the fortress. The hero was able to discover its location 100 years later in the dry lakebed, and then return to HIY 100 to find the still-intact hammer.
In gratitude, Suu Jin would pour her efforts into a new smithing technique, etching the results on a slate for the Company to uncover a century later. Her child-like scribbles proved hard to decipher, but thankfully the power of the 108 Stars transmitted the skill to the Company's blacksmith regardless.
It was speculated that the reason why her techniques had been lost were simply because they were too advanced for others to grasp. The hero wondered if, despite her child-like looks and mannerisms, she was in fact older than the group due to her Coutanese heritage.
In the branch of the Infinity where Renefarious continued to reign, she created her revolutionary smithing skill some months later. Of course, no one would be able to understand it until 200 years later. In the world of the Infinity where the barrier fell, she worked at the Nabarre shipyard with Sau Jin, showing off her amazing skills, but perturbed no one could emulate her.
