Irin (イーリン, Īrin) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Irin is the first featherfolk malicite crafter, trained in the art by Chikura.
History
|
Irin is notable for being the first featherfolk malicite crafter. She initially trained under Chikura in this in order to help her husband, Wan, the first featherfolk shaman. An incredibly easy-going personality and Wan's biggest supporter, she brought many headaches for her master during their training.
On a journey with her husband at the Southern Highway, they would tutor Guwaini and Bhutruga at Chikura's request. Irin found the idea of training her successors fun, but in the end declared she liked the old-fashioned way of teaching better than the instant transmission of skills as a Starbearer.
Following the defeat of the Teras Fe Tys, Irin continued traveling with Wan for the rest of her days. Later chiefs would come from among the children she left behind in Gugleion. In worlds of the Infinity where the barrier fell, they kept traveling but likely never noticed they had left the former barrier's area.
