The Blue Mercenary (青傭兵, Ao Yōhei) is a minor character from Suikoden Tactics. The Blue Mercenary is a sword-for-hire often found in the employ of X & Co..

Information

The Blue Mercenary was a mercenary swordsman, specialising in spear-wielding, who was hired frequently by X & Co. in their attempts to displace the rival Chiepoo & Co.. He would fight under the Mercenary Leader and alongside his companions, the Red Mercenary and the Yellow Mercenary.

As part of these attempts, he would often come across Kyril but after countless defeats and a final battle against Kyril's group, he would join their side.

Gameplay

Main article: Blue Mercenary (enemy)

Mitsuba is fought as an enemy in Suikoden Tactics, in chapters 2 and 22. He can be encountered far more often, however, in the series of Chiepoo & Co. quests one can undertake. Battling him in those quests are an essential part of his recruitment process.
