Ornela (オルネラ, Orunera) is a supporting character from Suikoden Tactics. She is a soldier of the Kooluk Empire and a member of its ruling Imperial Faction.

History

Ornela was a member of the Kooluk Empire's Imperial Faction in the last days of the Empire. Although she mostly radiated a stiff, military temperament, she was not without warmth and kindness during personal or private discussions.

She was the older sister of Busk and her stern demeanor helped to pull the blood of the royal family together within the Imperial Faction. She also had a close relationship with Corselia, granddaughter of Julius, Emperor of Kooluk, which often brought out an overprotective attitude concerning the princess. Martin also trusted her greatly, something very rare for him even within the Imperial Faction.

When first encountered by Kyril, helping to rout an ambush by the Patriarchal Faction, she gave the impression of a strong, military figure. She was also concerned with the people under her charge as administrator of Frontier Town Haruna, having been trained to think seriously about the plight of the common people. Ornela would end up joining Kyril's group following Iskas' coup in the Imperial City of Graska.

Following the collapse of the Kooluk Empire, Ornela lamented the fall of the nation but resigned herself to the knowledge that it was the fault of its leaders that brought its demise.
