The Twin Snake Sword Großer Fluss (双蛇剣グローサー・フルス, Sou Hebi Ken Gurōsā Furusu) is a weapon that Nash Latkje wields in Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1 and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.2. As the name suggests, it is actually two weapons, used simultaneously.
Information
The sword was an heirloom of the Latkje family, and its magical power was ordinarily sealed away. The weapon is made of two swords, Schwarz and Weiß, which were a black and white blade respectively.
The two swords are connected by a wire and each blade can be divided further, connected by wire, allowing it to function akin to a whip when not being used as a sword. This versatility means that a lot of training and skill is required to be able to use the weapon effectively.
The sword is able to pass on a poison, called Zodiac Tower, which is fatal with no antidote even with the slightest scratch. The sword itself is said to have almost a will of its own and was considered Nash Latkje's most powerful weapon.
Following his defeat of Zaj Quiroz, Nash appears to have sealed it once more, avoiding wielding it again.
Trivia
- "Großer Fluss" is German and translates into English as "Grand River" or "Great Flow".
- "Schwarz" and "Weiß" are German as well, meaning "Black" and "White", respectively.
