The Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 1 (幻想水滸伝 短編集1, Gensōsuikoden Tanpenshū 1) is a book published by Kadokawa Shoten in 2000. It is a selection of short stories that deals with characters and events from Suikoden and Suikoden II.

The collection features six text-stories as well as two short manga features, with a variety of writers and artists. Most stories take place before the events of the first Suikoden, but one (The Sky, the Smoke, and the Ferns) takes place in between the first game and Suikoden II.
