Heinz (ハインズ, Hainzu) is a supporting character from Suikoden Tactics. He is a soldier and spy working for the Scarlet Moon Empire during the events of the game.
History
Heinz was a military officer and spy hailing from the Scarlet Moon Empire. He was ordered to Kooluk in order to investigate and obtain Rune Cannons, along with his subordinate, Coop. Personality wise, Heinz was arrogant and was said to hold a sour attitude.
He was a former comrade of Walter and they had worked together in the past. This helped him ingratiate himself with Kyril's group. In secret, he plotted to kidnap Corselia on his own volition but was unable to follow through. Because of this, Coop began to distance himself from Heinz.
After Heinz's actions and true intentions came to light in Graska, he became defiant and, rejecting Kyril's arguments, separated himself from the group to pursue his goals alone. Moments later, he was killed by Patriarchal Faction soldiers in the city.
Trivia
- His design notes state him to have a “functional, military design”. Both his jacket and his pants have piping, the former in red and the latter in white.
