Lenankamp (レナンカンプ, Renankanpu) is a town which appears in Suikoden and the upcoming Suikoden STAR LEAP. It is a medium sized town located to the south of the Imperial capital of Gregminster.

Information

Lenankamp is the second-largest town in the Arus region, smaller only that Gregminster. Located near the Tolna Canal and roughly seven days from Gregminster on foot, it was well served by aqueducts, making it a busy town.

The town has carefully placed stone pavements and stone buildings. It is well known for its excellent blacksmiths and armor makers and is especially famous for its circlets, which are frequently sold as souvenirs.

In addition, Lenankamp is quite famous for its excellent alcohol and food. The main street of Lenankamp is always busy and crowded with people with many travelers stopping there on the way to Gregminster.

The Keyaki Inn in the town comes highly recommended. The inn also hid an entry to the original hideout of the Toran Liberation Army which caused a lot of commotion in the town when it was uncovered early in the Gate Rune War.

Music

Rock Rockland

Lenankamp's theme in Suikoden is the song "Rock Rockland", which is song 15 on disc 1 of the Genso Suikoden Original Game Soundtrack. It shares this theme with both the towns of Sarady and Rockland. All three are located in the region of Arus.

The Genso Suikoden Original Game Soundtrack notes that Rock Rockland is the theme for Rockland and Lenankamp, but not for Sarady, perhaps underscoring that village's isolation and unimportance.
