Correct coin (コイン当て, Koin ate) is a gambling game in which a player determines which cup covers a single coin after the cups have been shuffled. It is a mini-game in the first Suikoden.
Information

The object of this game is to correctly place which overturned cup has a coin hidden in it. The person running the game shows the player which cup they are placing over the coin before shuffling the cups on the table at great speed in order to confuse and misdirect the player.
Coming out on top required both intuition and sharp vision. Although it was called a game, it was a gambling contest and so could not be played without wagering potch on the outcome.
During the Gate Rune War, Marco made a killing playing this game in both Rockland and the Warriors' Village. When he lost to the hero, he would join the Toran Liberation Army, continuing to make easy money at Toran Castle.
Trivia
- More commonly known outside Japan as the "shell game".
