The Strategists (軍師, Gunshi) are a military unit in Suikoden.
Information
This special forces strategist unit was led by Mathiu Silverberg and assisted by his uncle, Leon Silverberg and his student, Apple. During large-scale battles, these strategists could determine a series of attacks which would give your units increased attack power so long as their orders were adhered to.
On the battlefield, these strategists could determine the outcome of a victory or a defeat. It is no exaggeration to say that the Toran Liberation Army won the Gate Rune War thanks to their efforts.
