Sou Jin (ソウ・ジン, Sō Jin) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. Sou Jin is a Coutanese ring maker and member of the Jin clan.
History

Sou Jin was a Coutanese ring maker who served at Zephtelos Fortress during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. Despite his size, he was a highly dexterous crafter.
He was also prone to falling into deep contemplative thoughts about his work. These periods of thinking, if interrupted, usually brought on a violent reaction from Sou Jin. They were also nigh indistinguishable from his sleeping, making it very difficult to know when exactly one could approach him.
This was the conundrum facing the Company when they tried to approach Sou Jin for help. Luckily, with Sau Jin's help they were able to speak briefly with him and persuade him to work hard and recording his new ring making process on stone slates for the Company's ring makers to learn from some 100 years later. It appears that before the visit from the Company, history recorded that Sou Jin never finished his work.
Following the fall of the barrier, worked with Sau Jin, helping to build ships. There was no end to the number of crafters beaten up for carelessly calling out to him. In the branch of the Infinity where Renefarious continued to reign, he eventually managed to finish his work and recorded it for posterity as requested, though when he did it no-one knows.
