Gerel (ゲレル, Gereru) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is a muscular, reticent cook who worked alongside Thorwad Albreck.
History
|
Gerel was a chef who ran the lake fortress kitchen during the HIY 100 Teras Pharma conflict. Extremely reticent, much of his background was a mystery but he was still well-liked at the fortress due to the popularity of his cooking.
Learning of Thorwad passing down his skill to the hero, he would come to the lake fortress in order to pass down his Forest Salad recipe to a member of the company. He only cooked with vegetables as the color of blood made him ill, making him unsuited for meat cooking. His large size led those who met him to think he was a warrior.
Once the barrier fell, he traveled eastwards with Thorwad's migrant caravan, cheering others with his delicious meals. In a branch of the Infinity where Renefarious continued to reign, he would continue his work at the lake fortress as Thorwad and the others continued to be work out of the fort.
