Ermione was a soldier who fought as 1st spearman of the 3rd Company of the [[Holy Empire of Ionia|Ionian]] Army. Found wounded by the Stars of Destiny after her unit was wiped out by the [[Bloody Axe]] at [[Perie Forest]], she would display her prowess despite her injuries and request to join their force afterwards.

She was initially refused, the hero not wishing to take someone set on bloody-minded revenge. Although she admitted she could not leave her bitterness behind easily, she promised to take his words on board and she joined the force.
