Attack rune

The Red Rose Rune (赤いバラの紋章, Akai Bara no Monshō) is an attack rune which appears in several games of the Suikoden series. It is always permanently attached to a narcissist character.

Information

The Red Rose Rune is a rune usually found attached to such aristocratic-styled individuals as Schtolteheim Reinbach III, Augustine Nabor, and Josephine.

When used, the rune allows the bearer to wield a splendid attack, whereby the bearer elegantly attacks with their chosen weapon, complete with the scattering of roses. Although useful, it appears using the rune can leave other members of a battle party disgruntled or angry with the wielder.

Reinbach bore the rune on his head, while Augustine and Josephine both had the rune attached to their right hand. Reinbach, in particular, could also put enemies to sleep with his Red Rose Rune.
