The Arcane Academy (帝国魔道院, Teikoku Madōin) is an organization in Suikoden Tierkreis.

Information

The Arcane Academy served as the main institute of magical learning in the Magedom of Janam. In years past, Nuzhat served as director of the institute, but was usurped and replaced by 2nd Empress Consort Rizwan at some point, causing much bitterness.

Under Rizwan's leadership, members of the academy, such as Mubal, had been directed to focus their efforts on the development of mage arts. Although this work greatly contributed to the development and spread of mage arts, this also revealed a dark side to the institute. Rizwan's daughter, Princess Manaril, was imprisoned and forced to extract knowledge from the Chronicle of Fierce Regalia there.

Following the erasure of the Magedom of Janam due to world fusion, the basement of the Arcane Academy would remain intact thanks to Rizwan's efforts. There, several relics, weapons, and armor survived and were excavated by Nofret.
