Ladzaa Fortress

Ladzaa Fortress (ラザの砦, Raza no Toride) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is a large fortress that lies on the northern border of the Magedom of Janam.

Information

This fortress lay at the northern reaches of the Magedom of Janam, at the border between Janam and the territories of the Order of the One True Way. It was said to have a very robust defense, making it extremely difficult to take.

Despite this, Ladzaa Fortress would be occupied by the Order for quite some time and it became an important target for the Magedom, who attempted to retake the fortress on several occasions. Eventually with the cooperation of the Company and its Porpos-kin allies, the fortress was reclaimed.

However, immediately after this victory, the fort was struck by a huge earthquake, wiping it and the majority of Mage Forces, still celebrating their victory, out in an instant. The Company had noticed the approaching earthquake, but the unconcerned Magedom forces did not respond until it was too late.

This was also the place where the hero first met Cougar, who had come through the Gateway there.
