Cynas (サイナス, Sainasu) is a city in Suikoden Tierkreis. It is the largest city on the continent and the headquarters of the Order of the One True Way.
Information
Cynas is the enormous city that houses the Tower of the Way, the headquarters of the Order of the One True Way. It was said to be the largest, most populous city on the entire continent.
Under the iron-fisted rule of the Order, almost every single resident is an adherent follower of the Order's teachings and wholly devoted to Chancellor Valfred. The city was actually originally the home of the Scribes and, thus, a remnant of the first world fusion. Fearful of the idea that people could use the Chronicle of the Tatau Council to trigger further world fusion, the Scribes would abandon the city, becoming a reclusive people in the Noslaw Woods.
Following the fusion of the 12th, and final, world, 12 pillars of light appeared around the city, connecting it to the One King's world. With the One King's descent, the Tower of the Way was transformed into the Statue of the One King, and Cynas would become the battlefield for the final battle against the Infinity-spanning being.
After the One King's final defeat, the city began a reconstruction effort under the guidance of Chrodechild and Vaslof. The Scribes would also return to the city, under the leadership of Liu-Shen.

Cynas's first theme song is the track "Capital of the One Way". This song plays during the party's first visit to Cynas in order to research the Chronicle. It is song 11 on disc 1 of the Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Original Soundtrack.
Later in the game, when the party returns to Cynas, the theme song is "To the Fulfilment of the One Way". That song is track 21 on disc 2 of the same album.
