Obento
おべんとう Obentō
Obento (おべんとう, Obentō) is a recipe in Suikoden II and Suikoden III, where it is localized as Lunch Box. It is Recipe #32 in the former game and Recipe #13 in the latter.
Information
Mainly for eating on the go, Obento dishes are normally carried around in containers. Unlike many such portable foods, there are many forms of preparation and contents can vary wildly.
The most popular variety is the Chili Shrimp Bento, but for those concerned about proper nutrition, the Ladies Lunch is recommended. As a village visited by many passing merchants, the Highway Village is known for Obento recipes.
